Sam B. Elllis

ELOY - Samuel B. "Sam" Ellis, 86, of Eloy died on April 10, 2014, at Hospice Family Care in Casa Grande.

Mr. Ellis was born on June 21, 1927, in Batesville, Ark., and was a son of Charles O. Ellis and Verna Skelton. He was a convenience store manager and enjoyed playing the horses and cards with friends and family.

Survivors include a daughter, Beth Smith of Gardendale, Texas; a sister, Emma Lindsey of Eloy; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean, and a son, Mitch Ellis.

No service is planned.
