SACATON — Russell Juan Enos, 82, died on March 7, 2012, at home.
The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Gila Crossing Presbyterian Church in Laveen. Burial will be in Co-op Cemetery.
Mr. Enos was born on April 8, 1929, in Co-Op and was a son of William M. Enos and Minnie E. Patton. He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War and worked in water treatment for the city of Phoenix for 30 years before retirement. He also was a handyman. He was Presbyterian and enjoyed his family and friends, especially the young children.
Survivors include five daughters, Rhonda Notah of Sacaton, Carol Kimble, Jennifer Fenton, Madeline Enos and Monica Thompson, all of Fort McDowell; a son, Daniel Gashytewa of Fort McDowell; a sister, Esther Monahan of Sacaton; 18 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan; a brother, Henry Enos; and a sister, Lillian Sanderson.
