Rudy Gonzales Lopez

SANTA ROSA VILLAGE — Rudy Gonzales Lopez, 43, of Santa Rosa died on July 8, 2013, at home.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 7 p.m. today at St. Elizabeth Catholic Mission. A wake will follow at the Lopez home. Burial will be early Saturday in Santa Rosa South Cemetery.

Mr. Lopez was born on Sept. 10, 1969, in Sells. He was a night janitor for the Tohono O’odham Nation, then worked for the Indian Health Service and tribal Utility Authority. He went to college and received a certificate in welding.

Survivors include a daughter, Clarissa Lopez of Santa Rosa; three brothers, Fidelis and Wayne Lopez of Santa Rosa and Ronald Lopez of Polacca; two sisters, Sylvia Lopez and Vivian Carlos of Santa Rosa; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, David I. and Cecelia B. Aguilla Lopez, and a brother, Michael Lopez.
