Rose Marilyn Armenta, 89, of Casa Grande, passed away December 9, 2020. Born in Hope Arkansas in 1931 and moved to Casa Grande in 1941 where she resided throughout her life. Preceded in death by her parents George Harvey& Dora Elsie Smith, brother Weldon Smith, sister Carolyn Davis, nephew Michael Turner and Reynold (Pooter) Armenta. Survived by her children Rhonda Armenta of Chandler, AZ, Roxanne Scribner of Queen Creek, AZ, Jana Armenta of Casa Grande, AZ and Rochelle Carr (Gary) of Tucson, AZ; sister Barbara Jean (John) Turner of Sisters OR. Grandchildren Julie (Eric) Capranica, Nichole (Justin) McDaniel, Ashly (Richard) Apodaca, Brooke Scribner, Jordan Carr, Jade Carr and Jensen (Logan) Tripp, great grandchildren, Olivia, Emma and Cole Capranica, Bella and Jake Scribner, Mariah and Leila Apodaca, Hudson and Aden Tripp and Hunter and Logan Figueroa. Mrs. Armenta loved bowling, which gave her the opportunity to many different states, and worked at Safeway in Casa Grande and Coolidge for 40 years. She was also the co-owner of Chantilly Brides and Belles for 27 years. She enjoyed her evenings at the Kerr’s home watching Dancing with the Stars and the Bachelorette. Mrs. Armenta loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was an active member of Victory Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Victory Baptist Church, 1225 E Cottonwood Ln, Casa Grande, AZ 85122 in her memory.
