Ronnie D. Burk,

Ronnie D. Burk Sr., 70, of Casa Grande died Nov. 1, 2008 at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.


A private service was planned.

Mr. Burk was born in Casa Grande and was a son of Graford and Gertrude Burk. He served in the Navy and was a welder, retiring from Southwest Gas Corp. after 20 years. He was a member of Trinity Southern Baptist Church. Gardening was his passion, especially growing tomatoes.

Survivors include two sons, R. Dean Burk Jr. of Casa Grande and Jason R. Burk of Arizona City; a daughter, Kathryn Burk of Casa Grande; and two sisters, Virginia Riley of Casa Grande and Della West of Green Valley. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca Burk; a brother, Jason R. Burk; a sister, Mildred A. Skelly; and his former wife, Marsha Burk.
