Ronald "Ron" Lewis

MARICOPA - Ronald Gene "Ron" Lewis, 70, of Maricopa and formerly of Fresno, Calif., died on Sept. 8, 2013.
The memorial service will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday in National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, in Phoenix.
Mr. Lewis was born on July 4, 1943, in Tulare, Calif. He was a son of Thelma Gurley and stepson of Benjaman Gurley. He served in the Army for two years and was a truck driver for more than 30 years.
He loved to ride his Harley-Davidson with family members and friends. He also enjoyed restoring his 1957 Buick and helping others whenever he had the opportunity. He donated and volunteered his time at New Beginnings Church of the Nazarene. He was very kind and was devoted to his family.
Survivors include his wife, Shrena; two daughters, Tiffany Lewis and Amy Lichtenhan; two sons, Jason and Thomas "Tom" Lewis; three stepsons, Tyrone, Terrell and Troyan Brown; a stepdaughter, Tyisha Brown; a sister, Pat Talley; seven grandchildren; and seven stepgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Etta Lewis, and a brother, Ray Lewis.
