Robert James Latin,

Robert James "Bob" Latin Jr., 66, of Maricopa died July 8, 2009 at home.

A private service was planned.

Mr. Latin was born in Newark, N.Y., and was a son of Mollie C. and Robert J. Latin Sr. A self-employed computer programer, he had been married to his wife, Sandy, for 48 years. He loved his family and enjoyed playing cards with them. He enjoyed golf, and his favorite teams were the Phoenix Suns and the Oakland Raiders.

In addition to his wife, survivors include five daughters, Martina Gardner and Jennifer Latin, both of Chandler, Stacy Latin-DeBono, Robyn Latin-Hoover and Samantha Walters, all of Gilbert; a brother, Joseph Latin of Newark; a sister, Louise Zakoian of Sun Lakes; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
