Robert Crooks

FLORENCE — Robert Frank Crooks, 78, of Florence died Sept. 21, 2009 in Mesa.

Mr. Crooks was born April 17, 1931 in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. He had a 20-year career in the Navy. He was a generous person and enjoyed visiting his friends at the Florence Gardens clubhouse on Saturday mornings for coffee. He enjoyed fishing, camping, bowling, square dancing and talking.

Survivors include his wife, Edna; a daughter, Rowena Harting of Blairsville, Ga.; a son, Edgar A. Lewis of Port Orchard, Wash.; and one grandchild.

No service is planned immediately.
