Robert Clayton Hills

April 24, 1922 — January 25, 2005

Mr Hills was born in Novinger, Mo. He moved to the Prescott area in the late 1920s and worked as a newspaper delivery boy and in the family dairy business. He continued working with his family after moving to the Gilbert area. He enlisted in the ARmy Air Corps in 1940. He served in the 509th Composite Group as an ordnance specialist and helped load the two atomic bombs that ended WWII in the Pacific. He owned the Tire Factory in Coolidge and was very active in the LDS Church. He also was active in Boy Scouts. He was friendly and enjoyed visiting with family and friends.
Burial was held at Valley Memorial Park, in Coolidge.
