Ricky S Woodcock

August 14, 1980 — July 11, 2021

Ricky Woodcock entered into Eternal Life on Sunday, July 11th, 2021.
Ricky was born Thursday, August 14th, 1980 in Brownwood, Texas to Ricky Woodcock and
Bernadine Andrews. Ricky married the love of his life Helen, June 27th, 2008 in Casa Grande,
Arizona. He was a resident of Casa Grande for eleven years and moved to Arizona City in 2011,
where he settled with his family, until God called him home. He was born a Texan, but claimed
Arizona as his home of heart with his family. Ricky fell in love with the Arizona desert. The
extreme heat never bothered him. He enjoyed the outside activities. He was introduced to the
beautiful Sonoran desert, thanks to his best friend Roger and Shelly Sargeant with their loving
family. Riding his 4x4 through the trails of the desert. Grilling was a great passion of his. He
looked forward to the weekends to grill for his family and friends. We can say he was a “master
griller”. He was a true Dallas Cowboys fan. Moving to Arizona his nephew Dimitri turned him into
a Cardinal fan. And eventually becoming a Diamondback fan because of his mother-in-law Julia.
The biggest joys of his life were his wife Helen, his children; Maizzie, Caleb, Jozelyn, godson
Nathan, and goddaughter Maiya. The greatest joy came October 17th, 2017 when he became a
grandpa to Maivis. They were two peas in a pod, him calling her Diggy and her calling him
Gramp-Gramps. Ricky was a loving father, grandpa, brother, uncle, cousin, son, and friend who
will be greatly missed but will forever remain in our hearts.
Ricky is survived by his wife Helen Woodcock, his three children: Maizzie De La Cruz (Johnny
Reyes), Caleb Woodcock, and Jozelyn Woodcock, and his granddaughter Maivis Reyes, his
mother Bernadine Andrews (Ken) and father Ricky Woodcock (Sheila), his sisters Deanna
Ballard and Tish Woodcock. Ricky is greeted in Heaven by his grandparents Veda and Earl
Woodcock, Hubert Gresham, and Wanda Wells.
