Richard David Boyer

Richard (Dick) Boyer, 74, passed away at home on April 7, 2021 in Casa Grande, Arizona surrounded by his loving family and pet Kiwi. Dick is preceded in death by his parents Richard and Bernice (Cassaw) Boyer, brother Todd Konifka, sisters Judy Chapman and Shirley Wagner.
Dick is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Diane Boyer, his children Lynnette (Jack) Lavigne of NY, Rick Boyer of FL, his pride and joy grandchildren Alex and Ashley Lavigne of NY, and countless nieces and nephews whom he loved.
Dick was an avid bowler and singer. In the 70s-80s he had a few bands; playing clubs in NY’s Capital District Region, even getting a chance to sing with The Temptations. He enjoyed camping with his grandchildren, RV traveling, and deep-sea fishing in Maine with his grandson Alex and family. He also loved playing “Texas hold’em” with the gang at Palm Creek and enjoyed the longtime friendships he made, especially with Vic, Mic, Steve, and Tina.
Dick served his country proudly in the United States Navy. Throughout his life he touched the hearts of many and will be missed by all.
Cremation has taken place. Burial to take place later in NY.
