ELOY — Reynaldo Ramos “Rey” Corona, 52, of Los Lunas, N.M., died on June 27, 2011, in Albuquerque, N.M.
Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Valley Chapel. The funeral will follow at 10, with Darwin Chandler officiating. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.
Mr. Corona was born on Feb. 15, 1959, in Eloy. He a farm worker and was very hard working. He was caring and loved his family, especially his daughter. He loved music, especially oldies. He was talented in woodworking and arts and crafts and was a skilled handyman who could fix just about anything. He was funny and loved to crack jokes.
Survivors include a daughter, Reyna Corona of Blythe, Calif.; his companion, Geraldine Martinez; two brothers, Francisco R. Corona of Florence and Ricardo R. Corona of Miami, Fla.; and 11 sisters, Estella C. Rodriguez of Eloy, Isabell C. Diaz of Coachella, Calif., Olga R. Corona of Eloy, Connie C. Ramirez of Casa Grande, Dora R. Corona of Blythe, Susie R. Corona of Casa Grande, Julie C. Garcia of Coachella, Mary C. Rascon of Casa Grande, Josie C. Robles, Alice R. Corona and Yolanda C. Guanajuato, all of Eloy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco O. and Consuelo Ramos Corona, and a brother, Jesse R. Corona.
