Regina Jose

SANTAN — Regina M. Jose, 66, of Santan died on Jan. 25, 2012, at home.
The wake will be from 6 p.m. to midnight on Wednesday at St. Anne Catholic Mission. Funeral Mass will be celebrated there at 8 a.m. Thursday by the Rev. Ed Meulemans. Burial will be in St. Anne Catholic Cemetery.
Mrs. Jose was born on June 29, 1945, in Sacaton Flats and was a daughter of Ernest and Lohenia Nish. She was a homemaker and enjoyed listening to music, dancing and spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends. She was a very spiritual person and was involved with her church.
Survivors include her husband, Julian; two daughters, Reba Jose of Santan and Angela Jose of Arizona City; two brothers, Daniel Nish Sr. and Cordell Nish of Chandler Heights; nine grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marian Gomez; two brothers, Michael and Frank Nish; and four sisters, Caroline Valenzuela, Patricia Nish, Ethal James and Marlene Goodwin.
