Raymond Clark

March 10, 1921 — November 13, 2005

Born in Brent, Ala., a son of Howard and Elinor Clark. He served four years in the Navy. He worked for General Motors in the Detroit area as a metal finisher for 13 years before retiring on disability; he moved to Arizona in 1977. He joined the House of Jacob in 1951 and became a minister of the gospel in 1953. He served as a minister in Clarkston and Flint, Mich., in the 1970s and also as a pastor in Eloy. He remained an evangelist throughout his life. He took in and cared for children from Michigan, Indiana, Texas, Kentucky, Ohio, Florida, Georgia, California and Arizona. Burial was held with military honors in National Memorial Cemetery of ARizona in Phoenix.
