Randall Larnell Stone

STOTONIC - Randall Larnell Stone, 67, of Stotonic died on July 27, 2016, at home.

Mr. Stone was born on Sept. 22, 1948, in Sacaton to Samuel and Roselee (Salkey) Stone. He was known as a good man and a hard worker with a loving heart. He was a family man who loved his children and cherished the time he could spend with them and his grandchildren.

He had a devoted career in law enforcement for over 20 years and was a chief of police. When he wasn’t working, he dedicated his time to teaching his community the traditional language. He was very influential and will be missed by those he touched.

Survivors include his wife, Kathrine; five adult children, Debbie Garcia, Randall Stone Jr., Darnell Stone, Samuel Stone and Shawn Stone; 16 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two children, Anthony Unito and Rosalene Capistran, and two brothers, Verdie and Perry Stone.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at the District 4 Community Center. The graveside service will be at 5 a.m. Saturday in Stotonic Cemetery, with Pastor Randall Stone Jr. officiating.
