COOLIDGE — Ramon C. Valencia, 20, of Coolidge died on July 5, 2012, at home after a courageous battle with cancer, with his family surrounding him.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Friday at St. James Catholic Church by the Rev. John Arnold. Burial will be in Valley Memorial Park.
Mr. Valencia was born on April 26, 1992, in Phoenix. He was a restaurant cook. He was a happy man and enjoyed spending time with his kids, family get-togethers, barbecues with family and friends, cruising around listening to music and making music beats.
Survivors include two sons, Ramon J. Bojorquez Valencia of Coolidge and Andrew M. Valencia of Casa Grande; his parents, Naomi Valencia of Coolidge and Ramon Lopez Moreno of Mexico; five brothers, Jose Valencia of Coolidge, Albert Barraza of Phoenix, Ruben Barraza of Coolidge, Albert and Adrian Lopez of Mexico; three sisters, Antonia Chan of Coolidge, Yareli and Mari Lopez of Mexico; and a grandmother, Angie Macias of Coolidge. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Jose R. Valencia and great-grandparents Antonio Macias, Jose and Romana Valencia.
