SACATON — Priscilla M. Pratt, 77, died on Aug. 15, 2012, at Caring House.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at the District 3 Service Center, with rosary recited at 7. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 6 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony Catholic Mission in Sacaton by the Rev. Ed Meulemans. Burial will be in Vah-Ki Cemetery.
Mrs. Pratt was born on June 9, 1935, in Sacaton and was a daughter of William Lewis and Vivianna James. She was a homemaker and loved going to church, playing bingo, spending time with family and friends, listening to music, sewing and doing arts and crafts. She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary at Ira Hayes American Legion Post and was always helping others. She also loved going to events on the Gila River Indian Community.
Survivors include two sons, Curtis and Robert D. Lewis of Sacaton; two stepsons, James and Reynold Pratt Jr. of Sacaton; two daughters, Carol J. Tapija of Peach Springs and Rose Marie Lewis of Sacaton; three stepdaughters, Joanne Pratt and Jolene Pratt Lopez of Sacaton and Connie Pratt of Chandler; her stepmother, Charlene Lewis of Casa Blanca; 15 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reynold Pratt Sr.; a son, Wilman D. Lewis; a daughter, Rose M. Lewis Pedro, a stepson, Willard Pratt; a sister, Agatha Myers; and two granddaughters, Reynalda Quanimptewa and Kendra Lewis.
