Peter Ruiz

Peter R. Ruiz, 56, of Casa Grande died on Dec. 2, 2013, at home after battling cancer.

The celebration of life will be at 10 a.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel.

Mr. Ruiz was born on July 19, 1957, in Casa Grande. He worked for Bashas’ for 27 years and had a passion for dancing. His hobbies included outdoor decor and design and interior decorating.

Survivors include his parents, Jose B. and Nellie R. Ruiz of Casa Grande; seven brothers, Joseph, Jesse, Robert, Ruben, Johnny, Albert and Herman Ruiz, all of Casa Grande; and six sisters, Carmen Tapia, Stella Morris, Martha Torres, Margaret Ramirez, Mary Cox and Sally Heet, all of Casa Grande. He was preceded in death by grandparents Nickolas and Lorenza Rangel and a sister, Gloria Ruiz.
