Peter John

Peter Henry John Sr., 62, of Casa Grande died on Oct. 11, 2012, at home.
A service will be held later in Kentucky.
Mr. John was born on Nov. 4, 1949, in Los Angeles. He had a career in the Army, including serving in the Vietnam War, and received the Purple Heart Medal. He was a golf professional, a member of the United States Golf Teachers Federation and the American Legion. He enjoyed golf, travel and meeting friends at McDonald's every morning.
Survivors include two sons, Peter John Jr. of Benton, Ky., and Christopher F. John of Elizabethtown, Ky.; a daughter, Tammy Evans of Elizabethtown; and eight grandchildren.
