Pedro E. Bejar was born on March 27, 1942 to Victor and Juana Bejar in Laveen Arizona. He finished his course and kept the faith. He went to be with the Lord on January 24, 2023. He met his wife, Lillie Bernal in 1957. They married on June 16, 1963 and had two children, Cyndi Allen and Pete Bejar. He was ordained as a minister of the Lord in the Apostolic Assembly in 1966. He attended Colegio Biblico Apostolico Nacional (CBAN) in Hayward, CA from 1968 and graduating in 1970. This is where he studied under the ministry of Rev. Eleazar Rodriguez and became lifelong friends. He returned to Arizona and pastored in Coolidge and Glendale. He later returned to Hayward, CA and taught the Life of Christ at CBAN. His mentor, Rev. Eleazar Rodriguez, called him to pastor in Colorado and in 1979 he took the church in Delta. He went on to pastor in Pueblo and Colorado Springs, CO. He was fortunate to take the posts of Anciano of both Sector 1 and Sector 3, District Secretary and then Treasurer in the Colorado District. He then went to Washington State where he pastored in Puyallup, WA pioneering the Apostolic Assembly in that town. He friended Rev. C.M. Yadon and was asked to Co-Pastor the UPC church of Puyallup. Being faithful to the Apostolic Assembly, he turned down the request and continued with the Apostolic Assembly. He joined the Iglesia Apostolica Unida de Mexico in 1990 and served as minister and teacher until he retired and returned to Arizona in November of 2020 due to his health and the health of his wife. He is survived by his brothers, Paul Bejar of Sunnyside, WA, Raymond Bejar of Sunnyside, WA and his sister, Mary Gutierrez also of Sunnyside, WA. He is also survived by his children, Cyndi Allen, her husband, Shane Allen and three granddaughters, Justina Gutierrez, Janae Montez and Jasmine Montez, his son, Pete Bejar and his grandson, Carter Bejar. He leaves behind a legacy of faithfulness to the Lord, a servant’s heart and a strong work ethic which he more than passed on to his children.

Proverbs 20:5-7 The purposes of a man's heart are deep waters, but a man of understanding draws them out. Many a man claims to have unfailing love, but a faithful man who can find? The righteous man leads a blameless life; blessed are his children after him.
