Patrick L. Sanchez

ELOY - Patrick L. Sanchez, 83, of Eloy died on March 19, 2015, at home.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 10. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 by the Rev. Alonzo Garcia. Burial will be in Casa Grande Mountain View Cemetery.

Mr. Sanchez was born on Jan. 11, 1932, in Falfurrias, Texas. He worked in agriculture and loved his family and family gatherings. He also enjoyed playing baseball and pool and watching boxing and History channel on TV. He had a bright sense of humor and loved to share stories and laughter.

Survivors include his companion, Pauline Nance; three sons, Patrick Sanchez of Casa Grande, David Sanchez of Prescott and Mario Sanchez of Casa Grande; three daughters, Terry Montiel of Casa Grande, DeAnna Plasz of Gilbert and Christina Arenas of Tempe; a stepson, Robert Geary of Apache Junction; a stepdaughter, Carol Geary Hudson of Ahwatukee; a brother, Alfredo Sanchez of Eloy; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Jovita Mejia and Delia Ybarra, and two brothers, Diego and Robert Sanchez.
