Olivia N. Martinez

PICACHO - Olivia N. Martinez, 64, of Picacho died Nov. 22, 2008 at RTA Hospice House in Casa Grande.


A private service is planned.

Ms. Martinez was born April 19, 1944 in La Union, N.M., and was a daughter of Jesus and Elisa Navarrette. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church. She loved visiting her family, going to casinos and also enjoyed dancing.

Survivors include two sons, Israel Martinez of Eloy and David Martinez of Mesa; two brothers, Filimon Navarrette of Safford and Rudy Navarrette of Anthony, N.M.; six sisters, Angelina Castro of El Paso, Texas, Mary Hall, Carlotta Duenas and Gloria Contreras, all of Anthony, Maria Morales of Dona Ana, N.M., and Rosario Hernandez of Westway, Texas; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jose L. Navarrette, and a sister, Hermelinda Rodriguez.
