Novella Schroeder

Novella Mae Schroeder, 85, of Casa Grande died Sept. 1, 2009, at St. Joseph’s Hospital & Medical Center in Phoenix.

Mrs. Schroeder was born Oct. 3, 1923 in Barstow, Texas. She was a mobile operator in communications. She enjoyed her family, especially the children. She loved crossword puzzles, needlepoint and crochet.

Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Edwards of Casa Grande; a son, Dwaine Schroeder of Casa Grande; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald “Rip”; a son, Don Schroeder; three brothers, Bud, Homer and Harold Wright; and two sisters, Barbara Brown and Eloise Marsh.

No service is planned.
