Nova Kay Crawford

February 25, 1963 — November 8, 2022

Nova Kay (Robinson) Crawford returned to her Heavenly Father's home on day, month, year in Casa Grande, AZ. She was 59 years old. Nova was born on February 25, 1963, in Show Low, AZ. She was the fourth child of Glenn & Birdie Robinson.

Nova attended Show Low High School where she was very involved in the National Honor Society, Student Council, Newspaper, Track, Spanish Club, Yearbook, Choir, Drama, and Pep Club and made many lifelong friends.

After high school she attended Eastern Arizona College where she worked as a columnist for a newspaper. Later worked as a Nanny on the East Coast for a time. She later worked for the Arizona State Legislature as a secretary & at multiple day care centers.

Some of the places her family lived include South Africa and Jerusalem. They also lived in London, Washington, California, & Chicago. However, she always came back to Arizona.

Nova was always upbeat, easy to be around and ready to serve with a smile on her face. Nova was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was very social and enjoyed making new friends. She was known for her love of life and of children, her kindness and generosity even in hard times. She cared more about others than herself. She loved dark chocolate, singing, her children and her many nieces & nephews.

She is survived by and blessed with two beautiful girls, Lindiwe Crawford & Emily Crawford, her father, Glenn (Frances) Robinson. Siblings: Glenette (John) Mousie and Frank (Crystal) Robinson. Predeceased by her mother Birdie Robinson & her sister Noreen Robinson.

Nova was an extraordinary daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and friend. She always made you feel loved and important. Her life of giving, sharing, and spreading joy was cut short and she will truly be missed. A graveside service will be held in Claysprings, Arizona on day, month, year at time.

Nova’s family is thankful for the expressions of sympathies they have received and are especially grateful for all of the prayers offered up on their behalf.
