MARICOPA — Norma Jean Tompkins, 76, of Maricopa died on Nov. 6, 2010, at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Tompkins was born on Sept. 14, 1934, in Broken Arrow, Okla., and was a daughter of Jess and Pearl Heffley. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her family, especially the children. She also enjoyed crafts, the Arizona sunshine, her cactus gardens and being around people.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Robert L.; a son, Robert D. Heffley of Bremerton, Wash.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin and Marvin Heffley.
