Norbert G. Thomas

CHUICHU - Norbert Gene Thomas, 54, of Sacaton died Oct. 18, 2008 at Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn.


The wake will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at the home of the late Amelia Thomas in ChuiChu Village. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 5:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Augustine Catholic Church by the Rev. Ignatius DeGroot. Burial will be in South ChuiChu Cemetery.

Mr. Thomas was born in Sacaton. He was a heavy-equipment operator in construction.

Survivors include his wife, Lana D.; a son, Warren V. Thomas of Sacaton; three daughters, Kimberly J. Thomas and Diana L. Thomas of Sacaton and sister, Clemencia Perkins of ChuiChu; two brothers, Rico and Ray Thomas of ChuiChu; four sisters, Melissa Thomas of ChuiChu, Eleanor Williams of Phoenix, Erlinda Thomas of ChuiChu and Elaine Ahmsaty of Casa Grande; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ventura and Amelia Thomas, and a brother, Patrick Thomas.
