SAN TAN VALLEY — Newman Coleman Boydston, 80, of San Tan Valley died on July 25, 2011.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel. The funeral will follow at 10, with Pastor Destry Haught officiating. Burial will be in Coolidge Valley Memorial Park.
Mr. Boydston was born on Feb. 27, 1931, in Marlow, Okla., and was a son of McKinley and Bertha Boydston. He was a Korean War veteran and a pipefitter. He was a very giving person who loved the Lord and his family. He liked his work and spending time with his friends and family. He also liked collecting things and enjoyed horses and dogs.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Mildred F.; a daughter, Brenda Farris of Queen Creek; two sons, Jeff Boydston of Buckeye and Bradley K. Boydston of Kearny; three sisters, Jewell Millspaugh of Gilbert, Mary Jones of Chandler and Barbara Wright of Cottonwood; two brothers, Buck Boydston of Lindsay, Okla., and Newt Boydston of Oklahoma City; 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a son, Ronny Clark, and a sister, Maxine Harper.
