Nelda M. Donahue, 74, a retired Casa Grande city clerk, died on Dec. 13, 2010, at home in Casa Grande.
The memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 27 at Trinity Southern Baptist Church.
Mrs. Donahue was born on Nov. 16, 1936, in Shreveport, La., and was a daughter of Marion B. and Susan H. McDowell. She attended Centenary College there. She was city clerk in Casa Grande and retired from the city after 17 years. She was a member of Alpha Xi Delta and Beta Sigma Phi sororities, Sun Lakes Baptist Church and Ninety-Nines, an international organization of women pilots. She was an award-winning quilter.
Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Dennis Jerry Donahue; two daughters, Andrea R. Lane of Casa Grande and Susan L. Henry Peterson of Loveland, Colo.; two sons, Jere L. Henry Jr. of Casa Grande and Judson M. Henry of Shreveport; a stepdaughter, Kelly Pieshal of Bandon, Ore.; a stepson, John Donahue of Gilbert; a sister, Helen B. Daniel of Shreveport; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
