Neil Johnson

Neil Gordon Johnson, 65, Sacaton, died May 3, 2022, in Gilbert, Arizona. He was born March 14, 1957, in Sacaton, Arizona to David Arnold Johnson Jr. and Darlene Lois Jay. Neil, also known as “Bucky,” to family and friends, had a friendly personality. He was caring and would talk to anyone. He was a Dallas Cowboys and ASU fan. He enjoyed listening to music, cruising and was a jack of all trades. He was always willing to get up and go places. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandkids.

He is survived by his daughters, Naomi Blaine of Sacaton and Wynonna Johnson of Bapchule, his siblings, Valerie Johnson-Antone of Sacaton, Eric Lewis Sr., of Casa Blanca, Richard Cross Jr., of Salt River and Kimberly Lewis of Gila Butte, 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a son, Jarrod Neil Johnson, two sisters, Betty G. Johnson-Castillo and Sharolyn Johnson and a brother, Weldon B. Johnson Sr.
