Nathaniel was born July 9, 2002 in Bremerton, Wash. He loved animals, especially his puppy Taz.

Survivors include his parents, Amanda Olsen of Maricopa and Kyle E. Grosso, serving with the Navy in Virginia; a brother, Robert Olsen of Maricopa; grandparents, Virginia and Robert Olsen of Maricopa; and great-grandmother, Ruth Olsen of Maricopa.
