Merle Ann Marrietta

SACATON FLATS - Merle Ann Marrietta, 69, died on April 12, 2019, in Chandler.

Ms. Marrietta was born on Jan. 14, 1950, in Sacaton to Joseph P. Marrietta and Josephine C. Cook. She was a loving and kind person and enjoyed going to casinos and playing games on her phone.

She would always share a smile and laugh and was a selfless woman who loved all her family and friends.

Survivors include four adult children, Theresa Marrietta, Maria Vasquez, Sonja Marrietta and Enedina Bustos; two siblings, Lavina and Leander Marrietta; 19 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by six brothers and seven sisters.

Wake beginning at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 22, at the District 2 Event Center. Funeral Mass celebrated at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, April 23, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Mission. Burial in the cemetery there.
