Melissa "Lisa" Rodriguez

PALO VERDE STAND VILLAGE - Melissa "Lisa" Rodriguez, 38, died on July 19, 2014, at home.

The wake will begin at 7 p.m. today at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Mission, with funeral Mass celebrated at 8 p.m. Burial will be at 5 a.m. Saturday in Santa Rosa South Cemetery.

Ms. Rodriguez was born on Feb. 23, 1976, in Sacaton. She was a janitor and enjoyed playing the saxophone and doing fun activities with kids. Kickball and volleyball were her main sports. She loved to dance and sing karaoke.

She was an outgoing person who loved to hang out with friends and family, and she enjoyed being with her pets. She also was a kind and loving person who always cheered up her family and friends.

Survivors include her parents, Juanita Moristo of Palo Verde Stand and Lorenzo Rodriguez Sr. of Casa Grande; a brother, Reynaldo Moristo of Casa Grande; a stepbrother, Lorenzo Rodriguez Jr. of Casa Grande; two sisters, Adrienne and Julie Rodriguez of Palo Verde Stand; two stepsisters, Rosie Fontes of Casa Grande and Velia Rojas of Eloy; five nephews; and six nieces. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry and Alfonso Moristo Sr., and a stepsister, Patricia Rodriguez.
