Melinda Ruelas

Melinda Eleanor Ruelas, 75, died May 2, 2022, at home in Bapchule. She was born September 4, 1946, in Sacaton, to Maurice Aldabert Avery Sr. and Viola Teresa Justin. Melinda enjoyed listening to music, dancing, traveling, and cooking. She loved spending time with her grandkids, family, and friends. She was a loving and sweet grandmother who raised two of her grandchildren as her own. She was an amazing woman and will be missed, love you.

She is survived by her children, Gerald, Brent, and Christie Lewis, 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Ruelas, 2 sons, Aldon Lewis and Warren Lewis, a daughter, Lynnette Lewis, 2 brothers, Arnold Justin and Edwin Justin, and a sister Viola Juan.
