Mavis Marie Monson

Mavis Marie Monson, 64, of Maricopa, passed away May 20, 2020 peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her father Lowell, sister Barbara, brothers Marlowe and Robin, and daughter Sausha Marie Renfro. Mavis is survived by her mother WillaMae Monson, sister Corinne, and brother Thomas; her sons Jacob Renfro of Maricopa, Lewis Renfro of Casa Grande and her daughter Zelma Renfro, of Casa Grande. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren- 10 natural and 5 step grandchildren. Mavis was a devout Christian who published and illustrated two Christian poetry books, she owned and operated Vision Publishing USA for many years and also developed Christian Music Auditions- which had not yet been launched. Mavis enjoyed singing gospel music, drawing, cooking, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Redemption Church on Saturday, June 6th, 2020 @ 10 A.M in the auditorium. Fellowship, which will include a dessert bar, will be in the gymnasium immediately following the service. Please bring your favorite dessert to share with everyone while we celebrate Mavis's life.
