Mattie C. Taylor

COOLIDGE - Mattie Taylor, 76, of Coolidge died March 28, 2008 at Chandler Regional Hospital.


Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel.

Mrs. Taylor was born Feb. 16, 1932 in Natchez, Miss. She was a homemaker and enjoyed baby-sitting her grandchildren. She also had a passion for playing bingo and liked traveling.

Survivors include a son, Henry Taylor of Coolidge; six daughters, Katty Christain of Henry, Tenn., Bea Williams and Mae Epps of Casa Grande, Frances Partain, Mary Hart and Cindy Lacy, all of Coolidge; a sister, Bonnie Vantassel of Konawa, Okla.; 25 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 1/2 years, Henry, in 1985, and two sons, Arthur and Robert Taylor.
