Mary Young

Mary L. Young, 60, of Casa Grande died on Jan. 1, 2012, at Oasis Pavilion Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church in Eloy, with rosary recited at 7. Funeral Mass will be celebrated there at 10 a.m. Thursday by the Rev. Rudy Rosales. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.
Ms. Young was born on Nov. 28, 1951, in Eloy. She was a secretary. Her granddaughter was her pride and joy, and she enjoyed playing cards. She was a strong supporter of Miracle House and met many friends there through the years. She really enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include a son, Brian A. South of Las Vegas, Nev.; a daughter, Angela South of Las Vegas; her father, Pascual M. Vasquez of Eloy; a brother, Hector Vasquez of Eloy; three sisters, Julie Cruz and Olivia Maldonado of Eloy and Rosalie J. Vasquez of Phoenix; and a granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her mother, Porfiria J. Vasquez.
