Marvin Gerald Olsen

CASA GRANDE - Marvin Gerald Olsen, 78, of Casa Grande died on April 5, 2016, at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center.

Mr. Olsen was born on Nov. 17, 1937, in Wapato, Washington. He had high energy and was outgoing and joking. His jobs and employers included farm hand, cook, Redwood Lumber, Singer Sewing Corporation, Bardahl Racing, shoe store owner, Kmart general manager, Black Hills Gold, Smith & Jones Mortuary, where he was a certified cremator, and Leisure Valley RV Resort manager before retirement. He was always the life of the party.

Survivors include his wife, Grace; his mother, Doris I. Olsen; four sons and daughters, Lowell D. and Rodney Olsen, Renee Domenichelli and Shiela Cala; a brother, Merle G. Olsen; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, the Rev. Gunder A. Olsen.

The celebration of life will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at New Beginnings Church of the Nazarene, with Pastor Jerry Leastman officiating.
