Marlette Childs

AJO - Marlette Childs, 45, a lifelong resident of Phoenix, died on Oct. 6, 2019.

Ms. Childs was born in Phoenix on June 10, 1974. She was lively and funny with a contagious laugh.

Survivors include her mother, Marlene Vazquez; her stepfather, Juan Vazquez; two sisters, Maclovia Morales and Jerlene Benavidez; a brother, Kris Childs; seven children, Uvlan, Mosiah, Jah, Keziah, Jemimah, Sumira and Amina; and grandchildren.

Funeral at 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 18, at Ajo Indian Village, with burial at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, in Darby Wells Cemetery.
