Marion Gavin

Marion Herriott Gavin, 61, of Casa Grande died at home on Aug. 26, 2014.

A private memorial service will be held later.

Ms. Gavin was born on Sept. 17, 1952, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and was a daughter of James H. and Lillian E. (Chubak) Herriott. She was a blackjack dealer at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino Resort and also had been a waitress at Robson Ranch Grill.

Survivors include a son, Ryan M. Gavin; three daughters, Carrie Whitener, Melissa Cartagena and Amanda Gavin; and her companion, Jerry Anderson.

J. Warren Funeral Services, Mountain View Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
