Marie Lucinda James

CASA BLANCA ? Marie Lucinda James, 80, died Aug. 10, 2009 at St. Joseph?s Hospital & Medical Center in Phoenix.

The wake will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at the Leroy James home. The funeral there will be at 6 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Sweetwater Cemetery.

Mrs. James was born in Sacaton. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Leroy; seven daughters, Marlene De La Cruz of Texas, Janice Pedro, Rozella Nelson, Lorna Pedro, Delvina James and Yvette James, all of Casa Blanca, and Marina Vincent of Ak-Chin; two sons, Tyrone James of Casa Blanca and Rodney James of Second Mesa; 40 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
