Maria Elizabeth Corriero

Born in Rochester, NY, she was a daughter of Jospeh and Rosalie Valenti, the fifth of twelve children. She worked in Rochester making tassels and other items until 1946, shen she followed her husband to Phoenix. She was a homemaker and was devoted to her family, especially the needs of her special-needs daughter, Diane. She loved to cook and bake and her specialty was Italian food. Early this year she moved to Casa Grande to live near her son and his family.
