Maria Candelaria Almaraz

Maria Candelaria Almaraz, 73, of Casa Grande died June 1, 2008 at RTA Hospice House.


The funeral will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, with visitation continuing until 8. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Ms. Almaraz was born Feb. 2, 1935 in Mexico. She was a farm laborer and was Jehovah's Witness.

Survivors include her mother, Bruna M. Almaraz of Casa Grande; six brothers, Miguel Almaraz of Concho, Rafael, Joe L. and Jesus Almaraz, all of Casa Grande, Roberto Almaraz of Las Vegas, Nev., and Arturo Almaraz of Casa Grande; and four sisters, Maria A. Hernandez, Lupita Castro and Brunilda Fleming, all of Casa Grande, and Teresita Johnson of Phoenix. She was preceded in death by her father, Miguel J. Almaraz, and two sisters, Francisca Villa and Maria J. Almaraz.
