Marguerite "Tootsie" Sibley

March 16, 1926 — April 7, 2020

Marguerite "Tootsie" Sibley, 94, of Casa Grande, AZ passed away peacefully at her home after a brief illness, surrounded by the love of her family and friends on April 7, 2020. Marguerite was the daughter of GW and Marguerite Ralston and was born in Middle Verde, AZ on March 16, 1926. She was a graduate of Casa Grande Union High School in 1943. She married Berkley "Sib" Sibley on April 2, 1944 in Coolidge, AZ. They were married for 73 years until Sib’s death in October 2017. They had three children: Sharen, Gayle, and Wesley. Marguerite was a very busy lady, always involved in all her children’s activities. She was a 4H leader, a Den Mother, and a Mother Advisor for Rainbow Girls. She was an active member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority for 61 years and a member of Eastern Star for over 50 years. She loved to sew, knit, crochet, needlepoint, and make whatever was the latest craft craze. She loved nothing more than making something special for everyone she knew. She was an extensive traveler and routinely took trips all over America and Europe. She said many times what a wonderful life she had and was grateful for every day with absolutely no regrets. Our lives are forever changed with her passing, but she left a legacy of boundless and unconditional love for all her family and friends.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Sib; her son, Wesley Sibley; a grandson, Tyler Sibley; and her brother, Jack Ralston. Her remarkable life will be eternally cherished by her two daughters, Sharen Sibley and Gayle Hughes; and her loving younger brother, Ralph Ralston; her grandsons, Jeffry Rogers (wife Valerie), Ryan Rogers (Denielle), and Brad Sibley; her great-grandchildren, Hailey Rogers (Derek), Madeline Rogers (Austin), Mia Rogers, DJ Bolen, Aggie Rogers, Ryland Rogers, Ryan Matthew Rogers, Ben Sibley, and Esteban Sibley; her greatgreat-granddaughter, Emery Rose Cusyk; as well as many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
There will be no service at this time due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
