SACATON - Marcella Miller, 84, of Sacaton died on July 27, 2016, at Chandler Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Miller was born on May 19, 1932, in Arizona. She was a kind woman and devoted her time to her family, ensuring that all of her children felt loved by her strict but gentle hand. Her faith in God was the cornerstone of her being. She was often found helping with church functions.

Survivors include five sons, Thomas Jose Jr., Philbert, Edward, Aaron and Darin Jose; three daughters, Katherine Miles, Karen and Lurleen Jose; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas Jose Sr.; her second husband, Justin Miller; two sons, Edmund Jose and Augustine Miller; and two daughters, Monica Perkins and Kathleen Jose.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at St. Anne Catholic Mission, with rosary recited at 6. Funeral Mass will be celebrated there at 6 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery.
