Manuel Rodriguez

ELOY - Manuel Rodriguez, 85, of Eloy died on June 27, 2015, at Oasis Pavilion Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Casa Grande.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday at First Southern Baptist Church. The funeral will follow at 10, with Pastor Scott Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.

Mr. Rodriguez was born on July 23, 1929, in Gregory, Texas. He was a hardworking man who loved to go out to eat and also enjoyed going to church and watching Diamondbacks games. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include two daughters, Janie Rodriguez and Lupe Galaviz of Eloy; four brothers, Pedro Rodriguez of Tucson, Alejandro Rodriguez of Eloy, Rudy and Emilio Rodriguez of California; a sister, Mary Martinez of Chicago; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosa; a daughter, Frances Martinez; and a great-grandchild, Baby Elliot.
