Manuel Leo Hayes

Manual Leo Hayes, 96, of Chandler died on March 25, 2010 at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Monday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel in Casa Grande. The funeral will follow at 11, with Kenneth Hayes officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mr. Hayes was born on Sept. 8, 1913 in Star, Okla., and was a son of David and Ethel Hayes. He was a railroad brakeman before retirement.
Survivors include two sons, David L. Hayes of Buckeye and Kenneth Hayes of Albuquerque, N.M.; a daughter, Martha Foster of Poulsbo, Wash.; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nina H.; two brothers, Frank and Lloyd Hayes; and a sister, Aliene Pierce.
