Manuel B. Felix

Manuel B. Felix, 64, of Casa Grande died Dec. 19, 2008 at home of congestive heart failure.


Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, with Deacon Tino Tarango officiating. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. by the Rev. Bardo Antunez. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mr. Felix was born in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. He served in the National Guard during the 1960s and became a U.S. citizen in June 1969. He was a partsman and parts manager in Casa Grande and West Covina, Calif., moving back to Casa Grande in 1997. He loved the outdoors, fishing on the ocean and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Lucy; two daughters, Lisa Elliott and Tiffany Felix Perreault; his mother, Elena Felix; three sisters, Rosie Singh, Anna Chavez and Lupe Quintero; 10 brothers, Ruben, Armando, Edward, Ricky, Heriberto, Alfonso, Fernando, Raul, Ralph and Luis Felix; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Francisco Felix, and a brother, Joe Felix.
