Lucille Alice Smith

Lucille Alice Smith, 80, (formerly of Avoca, Michigan) of Arizona City, Arizona, died August 12,
2013 at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center after a long struggle recovering from a stroke.
She was born May 14, 1933 in Waumandee, Wisconsin, to the late John M. and Matilda H.
Boltz.
On August 18, 1951 she married Keith E. Smith in Winona Minnesota, who preceded her in
death. Together they had 7 children.
Mrs. Smith retired from Riverside Metal in Port Huron Michigan before moving to Arizona in
1992. She was a member of St. Helen of the Cross, Eloy, Arizona and enjoyed playing bingo and
visiting her neighbors and friends.
She is survived by one daughter, Cynthia L. (Steven) Kerr, AZ; five sons, Roger K. (Sharon),
Richard A., Daniel B. (Jane), Scott E. (Sherri), Kim A. (Cathy) Smith, all of Michigan; 22
grandchildren and step grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and 2 great- great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are five sisters, Dorothy (Gail) Luethi, WI, Violes (Michael) Henry, TX, Mary
(George) Cierzan, MN, Beverly Durnen, MN, Joyce (Gene) Glomski, WI; and numerous nieces
and nephews.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Keith; a son, Craig S. Smith; and
brothers Vernon, Kenneth and John Boltz, Jr.
According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial luncheon will be held at a
future date in Michigan..
