Lowell C. Benton

WINTER PARK, Fla. - Lowell C. Benton, 74, of Winter Park died on March 25, 2015.

The celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. April 18 at Center Pointe Church of the Nazarene in Orlando, Florida.

Mr. Benton was born on July 24, 1940, in Imler, Pennsylvania, and was a son of Clyde and Rea Benton. He loved the Lord and spent most of his life singing in church and with gospel groups. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially his great-grandson.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; two sons, Glen and Brian Benton; a daughter, Trina Gaston; a stepdaughter, Diana Jimenez; a stepson, Bill Stell; sister, Phyllis Albright; brother, Dennis Benton and seven granddaughters; a grandson; and a great-grandson. He was preceded in death by a brother, Dean Benton, and twin great-granddaughters.
