Lorin Roy Wilcox

CASA GRANDE - Lorin Roy Wilcox, 82, of Casa Grande died on Sept. 5, 2019, at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center.

Mr. Wilcox was born on May 9, 1937, in Napa Valley, California, and was a son of Lorin Elmo and Mary (Gridley) Wilcox. He served in the Navy and later worked in construction as a master carpenter.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a Boy Scout leader, especially with the Webelos group. He served Scouting for 40 years and received its top service award, the Silver Beaver.

Survivors include his wife, Kinga; a son, Randy Wilcox; a daughter, Raine Wilcox; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Rita Sue.

Graveside service at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11, at Mesa City Cemetery. Memorial service following at 2 p.m. at the LDS Trekell Building in Casa Grande.
